Aesthetic Medical Practitioner Magazine’s 7th annual COSMEDICON secured its position as Australia’s premier boutique aesthetic medicine conference.

Aesthetic Medical Practitioner (AMP) magazine once again came to life at the COSMEDICON 2024 as cosmetic doctors, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, aesthetic nurses, clinic owners and trade partners came from near and far to attend this unmissable conference.

Held on 7-10 March 2024 at the beautiful Intercontinental, Double Bay, COSMEDCON was abuzz with the latest advancements and topics in non-surgical aesthetic medicine, including new treatment options and advanced techniques and safety protocols.

In response to delegate requests, this year COSMEDICON extended its educational offering to a three-day program.

The scientific program included some of the industry’s most experienced practitioners and innovative thinkers. International speakers included Dr Kim Booysen (UK), Prof Glen Calderhead (South Korea), Dr James Chelnis (USA), Dr Rob King (USA), Dr Shang-Li Lin (Taiwan) and Dr Beatriz Molina (UK), who delivered insightful and practical presentations on a range of acutely relevant subjects, including the latest techniques and technologies in minimally invasive facial rejuvenation/injectables, body sculpting, EBDs and skincare. Delegates also heard from esteemed endocrinologist Prof Steven Boyages, who delivered a fascinating keynote address and Q&A session on the rising popularity of semaglutide drugs for weight loss.

Each year COSMEDICON delivers an unmissable social program – and this year was a showstopper. The Cryomed Welcome Drinks set the tone for a collegial and inspiring conference, while High Tech Medical’s ‘Rocky Horror’ Gala Dinner delivered an evening of fun and revelry. To cap off a successful conference, the Xytide Networking Event provided the perfect opportunity to debrief and catch up with colleagues after a bustling scientific program.

We trust you enjoyed your COSMEDICON 2024 experience and we can’t wait to see you next year. Save the date for 6-9 March 2025! AMP
