If like most health professionals you spend most of your day treating patients and thinking about how you can deliver the best care and results, you will not be surprised to know that if you were to see ten patients each day, you will talk about aftercare 2600 times each year. Offering customised aftercare in your clinic would provide 2600 opportunities for your patients to take your clinic home with them.

Arnicare® is proudly Australia’s first aftercare designed specifically for use post aesthetic medicine procedures. The Arnicare® line heroes Arnica, which has been used for centuries as a homeopathic remedy to manage bruising, swelling and inflammation. Signature products like the Arnica healing balm and Arnica healing cream have been gaining serious traction across cosmetic injectable clinics, dentistry, and cosmetic surgery centres due to positive feedback from patients around reduction in downtime by at least 50%.

Arnicare® is now stocked in over 50 clinics nationally. Registered Nurse and cofounder Sam attributes their success to “our ability to work with clinics to promote and build brand awareness through product customisation which provides their patients with aftercare that works in achieving a more natural look”. Arnicare® offers reusable lip shaped ice packs that can be applied immediately post a range of dermal filler procedures, particularly lip and tear trough treatments. The ice pack moulds to the patient’s facial contour and last approximately 10-15 minutes. Clinics can utilise ice packs to build brand awareness through the application of their logo and colour choice.

Leading cosmetic injectables clinics and well-known franchises have utilised the ice packs as a “gift with purchase” promotion with lip filler for example, whilst others sell these as treatment add on for $10. Pricing for customised ice packs starts at $800 for 250 units or $1500 for 500 units.

Arnicare® also offers co-branding on their post procedure kits which feature the Arnica healing balm, Arnica healing cream and a lip shaped ice pack. Ashleigh Robinson, Nurse Practitioner and owner of Tox Bar in Geelong says “We were finding that so many of our patients were asking about aftercare and how to prevent bruising, rather than sending them to a pharmacy for Arnica after their treatment we are so happy to be able to stock Arnicare® in our clinic. We customised the Arnicare® post procedure kit with the Toxbar logo and added in ice packs with our Toxbar logo. I love being able to give our patients something to take away with them”.

The team at Arnicare are passionate about supporting small businesses, especially nurses and work hard to offer low minimum order quantities on their customised range. About Arnicare

The Arnicare range was created by sisters (and nurses) Ashleigh and Sam, when they saw the need for a product that would accelerate the healing process post-aesthetic injectable treatment.

Their research lead them to developing a range of natural arnica-based products that focused on maintaining hydration without impacting the skins barrier. Arnica Healing Balm is ideal for use after lip filler due to its hydrating and bruise reduction capabilities, while Arnica Healing Cream will additionally minimise swelling and inflammation making it ideal post-injectables, PDO threads, jaw filler and non-surgical rhinoplasty.

With the application of ice recognised as an excellent way to minimise bruising and swelling after cosmetic injectable procedures, the sisters have designed their own range of custom lip shaped ice packs and post procedure recovery packs, all of which can be tailored to suit the marketing and aftercare needs of individual clinics or franchises.
