The 12th National Laser & Cosmetic Medicine Conference will bring together leaders in the field of aesthetic medicine in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
For eleven consecutive years, the National Laser & Cosmetic Medicine Conference (LCMC) has been providing medical professionals and cosmetic technicians with the knowledge and skills to assist them in keeping up to date with this rapidly expanding area of medicine.
Held on 5-6 November 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley in NSW, the conference will bring together key thinkers in laser and cosmetic medicine. It will introduce new treatments, review established therapies and showcase the latest advances in medical equipment and products.

With an opening plenary address by Dr Sharron Phillipson, the featured speakers include plastic surgeon Dr John Flood, who will discuss the surgical management of non-melanoma skin cancer to achieve the best cosmetic outcome, and Professor Dedee Murrell who will present on the advances in non- surgical management of skin cancer and sun damage.
Dermatologist Dr Shawn Richards will also discuss laser treatment delegates will learn new technologies that are evolving the cosmetic landscape in australia and around the world for skin conditions including the management of rosacea.
On day two Dr John Flynn and Dr Jass Narulla will reveal the advances in non-surgical facial rejuvenation, discussing facial threading as the future of face lifts, and Dr Adam Rish will be presenting on the management of acne and indications and considerations for considering isitretinoin.
In addition, there will be advanced discussion sessions, allowing the opportunity for practitioners to compare and share ideas and techniques.
The trade display will feature leading companies from the cosmetic and aesthetic industries, showcasing some of the latest technological advancements, where practitioners can learn more about the science behind emerging aesthetic medicine- based products and devices.
