Advanced Cosmeceuticals (AC) – the exclusive distributor of market-leading cosmeceutical skincare brands including Medik8, mesoestetic, CALECIM Professional and WiQo, and medical aesthetic device brands Lutronic and Brera – this week announced the acquisition of DMK, further cementing its position as the largest cosmeceutical skincare provider in Australia and New Zealand.

The DMK brand originated in the US, developing a range of skin products and treatments to achieve real, sustainable results. In 1999 (23 years ago), Daniel and Debbie Dickson bought the Australian distribution rights for DMK, and today the Company distributes products and provides training to over 320 clinics across Australia and New Zealand.

Catherine Biedermann, AC’s founder, is thrilled at the transformation of the business she founded in 2006.

“AC has more than doubled in size over the past 3 years, representing the best global brands with the highest performance and proven results, backed by science and research,” she shared.

“With teams dedicated to supporting and training an expanding clinic network, AC provides specialised equipment and high-performance cosmeceutical products at the forefront of evolving trends, science, technology and innovation. The addition of the DMK brand will further cement our leadership in the ANZ markets.”

Advanced Cosmeceuticals CEO Tina Bannister is excited by the scale and growth of the AC Group: “With the acquisition of DMK, the world-leading paramedical skin revision brand, Advanced Cosmeceuticals continues to strengthen its position as the largest provider of scientifically backed cosmeceutical skincare and medical aesthetic devices in Australia and New Zealand.

“We are thrilled with the opportunity to continue to build our successful portfolio of brands and increase our capacity to service, educate and grow our clinic partners and customers across this region. DMK’s exceptional reputation and loyalty has been earned through their transformative products, services and expertise, and the team will continue to deliver best-in-class education and clinic support to DMK clinic owners and therapists across the Pacific region.”

The partnership enables the expansion of distribution centres in NSW, WA and NZ for AC’s stable of innovative skincare brands and medical devices. Clinics will benefit from faster delivery and dedicated training facilities.

DMK Australia and New Zealand’s founder and director, Daniel Dickson, is delighted with the growth prospects for the brand: “We are excited to further DMK’s skincare offering by combining the companies’ complementary strengths. We have distributed DMK in Australia for 23 years, with the purpose of rebuilding skin and rebuilding lives. We are thrilled to be joining the AC family of brands.”

AC’s clear focus as the provider of an outstanding stable of high-performance and science-backed cosmeceutical brands will benefit professionals working with them, which is good news for clinics and customers across Australia and New Zealand.
