Spanning 25 years, High Tech Medical has helped innovate the aesthetics landscape in Australia and New Zealand with best-in-class technologies and treatments.

Established in 1999, High Tech Medical is proud to celebrate 25 years as one of Australia’s leading and most trusted aesthetic medical device companies. With a reputation for being at the forefront of innovation, High Tech Medical is well known in the industry for launching devices and technologies that have changed the aesthetics landscape, including Hydrafacial, CoolSculpting and MonaLisa Touch, all first-of-their- kind treatments.

‘I am very proud of what High Tech Medical has achieved in 25 years,’ says Matt Moncrieff, Managing Director, High Tech Medical. ‘We have forged a reputation as a company that launches breakthrough innovations and game-changing technologies. We provide practitioners with the latest treatments that produce outstanding results with less downtime and less risk in the field of minimally invasive cosmetic medicine.

This, combined with our ability to offer customised, integrated solutions to medical and aesthetic professionals throughout Australia and New Zealand, is a great asset. Of course, all of this couldn’t have been achieved without an amazing team of people who work together as friends and who treat their customers in the same way.’

The origins of High Tech Medical were lasers for dentistry, securing distribution rights with two high-quality and established European laser manufacturers, Deka and Fotona. With the infrastructure in place, the transition into lasers and other energy devices in aesthetic medicine was a logical and relatively seamless step.

The expansion into aesthetic medicine saw High Tech Medical represent a wide range of world- leading brands. In 2007 they launched the first fractional CO2 laser in Australia with the Deka SmartXide Dot, followed by the launch of CoolSculpting, Hydrafacial and MonaLisa Touch, as well as working with globally-recognised brands such as Ulthera, InMode and Ellipse.

High Tech Medical’s current portfolio includes: iS Clinical, a luxury, pharmaceutical-grade, cosmeceutical skincare range; Sofwave, the latest innovation in ultrasound tightening and lifting on the face and neck; EndyMed, a world-leading radiofrequency platform for skin rejuvenation, skin tightening and body contouring; EmCyte Pure PRP; Velež Intense Hydration Masks for post- procedure and compromised skin; Black and Black surgical instruments; and Deka, the European laser and energy device manufacturer, which includes CoolPeel, the no-downtime, no-anaesthesia, fractional CO2 treatment, Onda PRO microwave face and body contouring, Again PRO laser for hair removal, as well as Deka’s latest launch, RedTouch PRO, the first and only fractional laser to selectively target collagen.

‘Over the years, working with the best manufacturing partners and selecting the right products to add to our range has been a key part of High Tech Medical’s success,’ says Moncrieff. ‘Above all else, I have tried to select products that are innovations and will in some way change how practitioners can treat their patients, with the focus being less invasive treatments and better results.

‘The aim is to have a comprehensive range of products without having too many and without too much crossover and that’s how we plan to continue to grow over the next 25 years.’
