We have recently been very excited with the results achieved when spot treating with BioRePeelCl3® Intense (50%). BioRePeelCl3® is a versatile, gentle and effective chemical peel treatment that uses a biphasic technology to rejuvenate the skin. There is little, if any, downtime – in fact, it will leave your patients with glowing skin immediately post treatment – and it is well tolerated by all skin types, even darker skin, all year round.

BioRePeelCl3®’s novel ingredient list includes: a potent TCA solution that targets skin texture, scarring and discolouration; salicylic acid to reduce inflammation and sebum production/blackheads; tartaric acid for natural brightening; and lacto-bionic acid for smoother, hydrated skin. It also contains various antioxidants and vitamins.

The innovative biphasic delivery system allows the ingredients to bypass the superficial layer of the skin, reducing the typical skin exfoliation or ‘peel’ compared to traditional moderate-depth peels. Patients should expect a mild shed about 5 to 7 days post- treatment – this is not a large- scale exfoliation, but more of a slight ‘pilling’ of the skin.

I find this peel it suitable for a range of indications, including acne, pigmentation, dry skin, general age management and even for rosacea. It can also be applied anywhere on the body.

The peel is colour-blind, meaning it can be used for all skin types, and we have had great success treating post inflammatory hyperpigmentation in darker skin types (FP3/4) with a course of BioRePeelCl3® treatments. We have had no episodes of PIH post treatment.

I will often start new patients on a course of BioRePeelCl3® as I find this peel sets them up for success. They experience immediate and progressive results with very little downtime. The peel also prepares their skin for more intense aesthetic treatments, such as laser, IPL, HIFU and microneedling.

Our clinic’s ‘skin first’ approach has been made easier by incorporating the BioRePeelCl3® into our clinic treatment programmes – in fact, we have stopped ordering a lot of other clinical peels as the patient feedback and results of BioRePeelCl3® have been so good! AMP
