Cryomed introduces Super Veloce 4800, an advanced intense pulsed dual light system that goes beyond traditional IPL to offer extended treatment for a variety of indications, including skin tightening treatments.

The Super Veloce 4800 by llooda flexes the boundaries of what traditional IPL can offer. Wide-spectrum interchangeable filters, with multiple wavelengths and a range of spot sizes and tips, allow practitioners to treat more indications than traditional IPL systems – all from a single handpiece.

Its main differentiators include dual lamp technology (Intense Pulsed Dual Light (IPDL)), which produces high-speed optical square pulses of 320 sub-pulses in 16 seconds, and the ability to combine this IPDL with specialised Broad Band Light (BBL) for impressive skin tightening results.

‘Super Veloce 4800 produces a uniform and stable beam of up to 235j of energy,’ explains Cherise Duffett, Cryomed Clinical Manager. ‘It provides stable delivery of high- powered energy in a short pulse duration thanks to dual lamps providing ‘speed beam technology’. In-built cooling protects the skin’s surface, maximising results while reducing downtime.

‘With its various wavelengths, pulse widths and specialised tips, the Super Veloce 4800 can treat a wide variety of indications, offering good ROI.’

It is also cost-effective to operate, with no consumables. Instead of purchasing separate handpieces, the device uses replaceable filters (including 640nm, 560nm, 515nm,420nm) with additional NT800nm filter for skin tightening and PW500nm filter for superficial pigmented lesions. When replacing filters, the automatic filter recognition system allows custom parameters for each filter, increasing ease of use.

SKIN TIGHTENING WITH N-TIGHT MODE

In addition to the device’s 420nm, 500nm, 515nm, 560nm, 590nm, 640nm and 695nm filters, Super Veloce offers skin tightening capabilities with its N-Tight 800nm filter.

N-Tight utilises a broad spectrum of near-infrared light energy to provide deep heating to dermal collagen, using high-speed pulses of short duration and high energy. The combination of IPDL and NT800nm BBL offers outstanding results, and can address skin firmness, pigmentation and hair reduction in one treatment.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF INTENSE PULSED DUAL LIGHT?

Ilooda’s IPDL system delivers key advantages, including square pulse technology, intelligent
BBL technology, dual flash lamp technology, and a powerful cooling function.

Square pulse technology

‘The square pulse technology provides a uniform therapeutic zone, ensuring a more effective treatment with higher safety profile than devices using high-burst output,’ says Duffett. ‘Energy is kept within 95% stability and accuracy parameters.’

Smart interchangeable filters

The Super Veloce 4800 is equipped with 6 filters – 420nm, 515nm, 560nm, 590nm, 640nm and 695nm – with additional NT800nm and PW500nm filters available.

The NT800, a specialised broad band light filter transmitting 800-1400nm, provides the N-Tight skin tightening treatment. N-Tight heats the deep dermal layer up to 40-45°C, promoting partial denaturation of collagen for a skin tightening effect.

The PW500 uses a narrow band light filter that transmits 500-600nm. This filter has a high absorption rate for haemoglobin, and can treat pigmentation and vascular lesions with similar results to laser.

Dual flash lamp technology

Super Veloce’s dual flash lamp technology performs an important role in energy stability and accuracy.

‘Each lamp uses only half of the required energy per pulse,’ says Duffett. ‘This ensures that Super Veloce 4800 is one of the most durable devices on the market, with minimal maintenance costs.’

Powerful cooling

The impressive sapphire contact cooling tip keeps the stratum corneum cool during the entire treatment. Super Veloce is able to discharge up to 20 sub-pulses in one second and 320 sub-pulses in 16 seconds with high precision and stability.

Varierty of spot sizes and tips

The device offers a wide range of spot sizes and spot blocks to allow for optimal treatment outcomes for a variety of lesions and treatment areas. Specifically, it offers one of the largest spot sizes in the market: 45 x 15nm. Combined with high power density delivering 1,080J per second, treatment times are significantly reduced and desired end-points can be met more quickly.

With its powerful combination of IPDL and BBL, easy clinic integration and ongoing support from the team at Cryomed, the Super Veloce 4800 offers a compelling choice for treating a wider range of applications than traditional IPL devices. AMP
