Based on six years of extensive research to address thinning hair, the patented KeraFactor® Serum combines a proprietary set of seven biomimetic growth factors and proteins, wrapped in a nanoliposome delivery system, for visible scalp revitalisation. How do KeraFactor®’s biomimetic growth factors differ from using PRP?
‘While PRP can benefit both skin and hair issues when injected, you don’t know what growth factors and concentrations you’re working with, so there is nothing specifically related to improving hair or scalp,’ explains Bartholomeusz.
‘This goes for all stem cell-based media or other human-derived alternatives – all are set ratios of concentrations with no ability to control what growth factors you actually get. This is another limitation KeraFactor® overcomes, in terms of the relative concentrations to each other. Also, these are not plant or animal-derived growth factor – they are biomimetic growth factors, so they are identical to their human counterparts without needing to come from a human. Further, because each growth factor is synthetically made, it can be wrapped in the nanoliposome delivery system, allowing for topical application vs. the need to inject them,’ he says.
