Cryomed Aesthetics introduces the newly rebranded TESLAPlatinum system, offering the muscle-building power of TELSAFormer with the pelvic floor and intimate wellness capabilities of TESLAChair.
Building on the proven success of TESLAFormer, the new TESLAPlatinum system retains the revolutionary Functional Magnetic Stimulation (FMS) technology – delivering concentrated supramaximal muscle contractions that engage deep tissue without pain, downtime or skin contact – but now includes expanded functionality, advanced engineering enhancements and a sleeker aesthetic.
The new TESLAPlatinum system introduces key enhancements:
- Advanced cooling system – engineered for continuous, all-day operation without overheating or interruption.
- Multi-zone treatment – allows use of up to four applicators simultaneously, improving efficiency and patient throughput.
TESLAPlatinum: build, tone, define
TESLAPlatinum is designed for patients looking to build muscle, improve tone and reduce stubborn fat, particularly those already leading healthy lifestyles who want to take their physique further.
A single 30-minute session delivers the optimum amount of supramaximal contractions to induce deep muscular engagement and trigger fat cell metabolism.
For clinics, this offers high patient satisfaction, minimal staff input (hands-free delivery) and fast ROI with package-based programs (six to 12 sessions recommended).
TESLAChair: redefining pelvic wellness
The TESLAPlatinum system also incorporates the TESLAChair, offering a completely non-invasive solution for pelvic floor strengthening, incontinence and intimate wellness. For clinics, it opens an entirely new treatment category with high demand, minimal hands-on time and reliable outcomes — all while patients remain comfortable and fully clothed throughout the session.
Using the same FMS technology, TESLAChair can be used to treat weakened pelvic floor muscles and all types of incontinence (urge, mixed and stress incontinence, as well as incontinence after childbirth). FMS technology can also benefit patients with sexual dysfunction and chronic pain in the pelvic region and lumbar spine. Studies show up to 90 percent of women with postnatal urinary incontinence experienced complete relief of symptoms following treatment. The remaining 10 percent saw a significant improvement.
Now upgraded with advanced features and a modern new look, the TESLAPlatinum system is positioned as a future-ready addition for clinics wanting to meet the rising patient demand for non-invasive body and wellness solutions.
Q&A with Dr Chris Leat
Cosmetic Physician, Gold Coast
What prompted you to introduce the TESLAPlatinum system into your practice?
As a cosmetic medicine clinic, we were looking to expand our treatment offering and incorporate more body treatments. We saw TESLAPlatinum as an ideal treatment to complement this – offering core strength and abdominal muscle improvement, and augmenting the fat loss and girth improvements achieved through treatments such as Emerald Laser and cryolipolysis, as well as providing a non-invasive option for gluteal enhancement.
What stood out to you about the TESLAPlatinum system in particular?
First, its ease of use – TESLA treatments are very delegable and almost any staff member can be trained to perform basic treatments. Second, it’s a treatment with a plethora of clinical papers demonstrating its effectiveness. It offers outstanding power, and as a clinic owner I was particularly attracted to its lack of consumables and ongoing costs. Additionally, Cryomed is a company with an excellent reputation in the industry, so I knew there would be ongoing support from the team.
How have your patients responded to the new treatment offerings?
It’s been very interesting. Our patient demographic is disproportionally female, aged 30-50 plus. A large percentage of this population suffers a variety of medical issues suitable for TESLAPlatinum treatments, especially pelvic floor and incontinence using the TESLAChair. If fact, around 40 percent of women in this age bracket suffer urinary incontinence to some degree and over 80 percent of patients will suffer from back pain at some point. So, we have found that our existing database is full of patients who are wanting TESLAChair treatment for a variety of medical indications.
Additionally, TESLAPlatinum has not only attracted new patients to the clinic but also re-engaged existing clients from our database. Quite a few patients have brought in partners or family members for treatment, and we’re now seeing patients contact us specifically for our TESLA treatments.
In terms of outcomes, what has impressed you most so far using TESLAPlatinum?
I have been so impressed with the results we have achieved for patients. I suppose I shouldn’t really be surprised – numerous studies have shown a success rate of over 95 percent in treating urge, stress, mixed and post- partum pelvic floor issues, and high rates of success for most types of back pain and other musculoskeletal issues. It’s been encouraging to see a drug-free treatment perform this well – and with such a good safety and cost profile.
What advice would you give to other clinics considering adding FMS technologies to their practice?
We are in a highly competitive environment. I looked at my business and realised that it is very difficult to grow a purely aesthetic clinic to any great degree at the moment. It was time to reinvent and think outside the box. I already wanted to be more than a cosmetic clinic and to move towards anti-ageing medicine.
I believe this is the direction the market is going and that many patients are looking for more than just injectable cosmetic treatments and skincare, and want a more holistic service.
TESLAPlatinum has been very easy to integrate as an add-on service; it takes up very little room, is portable, easy to use, has no ongoing costs and has an excellent safety profile. To me it ticks all the boxes and I would suggest that it is a modality worth any clinic investigating. AMP
