Antera 3D is a three-dimensional skin analysis camera and the only product of its kind that can accurately analyse wrinkles, texture, volumes, redness and pigmentation on the face and body.

Developed at the department of physics at Trinity College, Dublin, the powerful and novel Antera 3D is the only skin analysis technology that can accurately measure wrinkles, texture, melanin, redness, pigmentation and sun damage on all areas of the face and body. It provides aesthetic medicine doctors, dermatologists and plastic surgeons with a powerful and versatile consultation tool, and is proving indispensable in measuring the depth, volume and elevation of scars on the face and body as well as the depth and amount of tattoo ink on the body.

The many features of Antera 3D can help practitioners make the most of the diversity of treatments they offer and choose the right treatment modality for each patient depending on their skin analysis results. It is also an excellent aid for tracking progress and measuring the therapeutic efficacy of aesthetic treatments, such as lasers, peels, injectables, skin tightening devices and tattoo removal.

The software generates measurements and graphs for quick and easy visualisation of changes and improvements, and before and after images enable patients to see a quantifiable difference, rather than solely relying on visual judgement.

MULTI-SPECTRAL IMAGING IN ONE CLICK

Using new, patented technology, Antera 3D allows the user to view the skin in two and three dimensions and measure a wealth of parameters, along with providing a multispectral analysis of the dermis and epidermis in a simple click of a button. Unlike traditional imaging techniques, where only three colour channels (red, green and blue) are used, the Antera 3D uses reflectance mapping of seven different light wavelengths spanning the entire visible spectrum.

Antera 3D precisely measures: wrinkles (fine lines, folds, crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles, marionette lines, furrows); texture (skin roughness, deep furrows, pores and lines along the cheek); scars (hypertrophic, keloid, acne and burns scars, depressions, elevations, volume measurement); pigmentation (pigmented lesions, melasma, vitiligo, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, melanin concentration); redness (rosacea, port wine stain, eritrosis, vascular, haemoglobin); and tattoos (tattoo removal of organic or metallic ink).

For fast, precise skin analysis anywhere on the face and body, the portable Antera 3D camera has quickly emerged as the market leader. AMP
