Tony Charara, co-founder and CEO of Tissue Repair Limited, a biotechnology company, has formally launched TR Pro+®, an Australian first, next-generation topical treatment, at an exclusive lunch with key health and beauty journalists and hosted by Dr Steven Liew, a leading voice globally in the field of aesthetics.

“TR Pro+® is a molecule that actively stimulates the body’s immune system to accelerate healing and improve skin quality. It promises faster skin recovery and enhanced results after aesthetic procedures such as laser treatments, skin needling, chemical peels, and minor surgical procedures,” said Tony.

Dr Liew, a Specialist Plastic Surgeon and owner of Shape Clinic, shared his experiences using TR Pro+® as his primary wound healing product in his clinic.

“TR Pro+® represents a new standard in aftercare and wound healing, moving on from the last 30 years of incumbent technology, which heals wounds passively. TR Pro+® is an exciting disruptor that promotes active wound healing through regenerative medicine technology,” Dr Liew said.

Dr Liew presented a range of case studies demonstrating the effectiveness, improved skin quality, and accelerated healing following TR Pro+® for post-laser ablation, skin needling and patients who had experienced severe burns, cuts and abrasions.

“The accelerated wound healing in cases following the usual common accidents we see, such as abrasions, cuts, scalds, treated with TR Pro+®, was remarkable. TR Pro+® accelerated the wound healing in all these cases,” said Dr Liew.

At the lunch, Tony also shared that from 1 October, TR Pro+® will be available in clinics all across Australia thanks to a new partnership with Advanced Cosmeceuticals.

“The partnership with Australia’s leading aesthetic distributor fast-tracks our commercialisation goals. It allows us to get TR Pro+® into the hands of clinicians and patients in Australia and New Zealand, while laying the foundation for global expansion.

“This is a testament to the market readiness of TR Pro+® and the need for such a product. To meet this growing demand, we are scaling up our manufacturing to support a global reach and broader consumer base,” said Tony.

Shaunte Mears–Watkins, CEO of Advanced Cosmeceuticals, said, “Our extensive network of over 2,500 clinics, including specialist skin clinics, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, pharmacies, and major online retailers, uniquely positions TR Pro+® to achieve national reach across aesthetic and medical aesthetic channels.

“We are proud to take on TR Pro+® as the clinical mechanism of action, and the histological evidence is compelling. We see it as becoming the frontline therapy for post-aesthetic recovery, delivering efficacy levels the market has long needed,” said Shaunte.

TR Pro+® can be purchased directly from Tissue Repair’s website.
