What’s your approach to a non-surgical post-pregnancy makeover?
This non-surgical makeover is a combination of procedures designed to rejuvenate a post-pregnancy body. At Peaches by Dr Power, I’ve developed a bespoke range of treatments which consists of targeting the midsection (an alternative solution to abdominoplasty) to reduce excess fat, tone the muscles, and tighten the skin.
Hormonal fluctuations are a big contributing factor for cellulite during pregnancy and postpartum, which also needs to be addressed. As part of the makeover, I also address the pelvic floor muscles to help with urinary incontinence and sexual dysfunction.
Why did you invest in BTL devices?
A post-pregnancy makeover traditionally involved surgery with liposuction, abdominoplasty and buttock augmentations being some of the most popular choices. With advanced technology, non-invasive procedures are in high demand due to the safety profile, versatility of transition between therapies without any downtime and reproducible results. The surgical option is effective; however, it can be costly and requires downtime (a major factor mums with newborns don’t have). It maintains the results longer, keeping the patient motivation to return, and provides consistency for their tailored treatment plans. The ability to target the entire body means our patients our willing to upgrade their packages to include arms, legs, etc, once they start seeing the results in the treated area. What kinds of results are you seeing?

What surprised you the most about this device?
I’ve found that the devices are beyond an aesthetics improvement. It has helped to kickstart patients’ motivation and achieve a healthier lifestyle by improving the structure and function to their bodies.
The devices can provide a total core treatment to improve the overall form and function. For example, EMSELLA® not only strengthens the pelvic floor to address sexual dysfunction and urinary incontinence, but it can also help with the foundation of the core (stabilising the back, abdomen and pelvis) which can improve posture and reduce back pain. How have patients found the actual treatment?
A lot of our clients have described the treatments as a strange sensation, but without any pain. I love that it is operator friendly, and the ease of use means my staff are extremely confident and enjoy delivering the treatments.
What would you say to those considering these technologies?

My advice for anyone considering energy-based devices is do your due diligence – not all medical devices are created equal! Many claim they can do the same, yet there’s no real scientific data behind it.
