Held at Crystalbrook, Byron Bay on October 29-31, The Fresh Life Conference offered a dynamic blend of aesthetic medicine, wellness and professional growth.

The 2024 iteration of The Fresh Life Conference delivered a vibrant program of presentations, workshops, treatments and panel discussions focused on aesthetic medicine, professional development, wellness and industry trends. Yoga, meditation and breathwork sessions were also on offer each day, setting the tone for a holistic approach to learning and personal development.

Day 1 kicked off with a welcome from  Fresh Clinics co-founders Dr John Holbrook and Dr John Delaney, before delegates were divided into groups to ensure access to both clinical and business sessions.

Keynotes included Freya Carlson (Revitalise Skin Quality and Elevate Your Practice) and Dr David Eccleston (Do We Really Need So Many Toxins? A Guide to Choosing Yours), and workshops by Andrea Culligan and Fanziska Iseli (Embracing Change, Choice and Courage), Mike Clague (Patient Satisfaction and Profit) and David Segal (Thriving in the Evolving Aesthetics Market).

Attendees also participated in concurrent training sessions, treatments and business-boosting presentations, ending the day with a poolside networking event sponsored by Galderma.

Day 2 continued with practical skills training and engaging presentations on injectables and energy-based devices, alongside opportunities to explore innovative tools and products at vendor booths.

The final day shifted focus to business excellence and the future of aesthetics. Program highlights included: Douaa Al Hamad’s ‘Real Talk with Industry Leaders’, interviewing Amy and Emilee Hembrow (SSKIN) where they discussed business growth and marketing strategies; Babak Moini (Laser Clinics co-founder) sharing ‘Learnings from Building an Aesthetic Empire’; and a diversity panel addressing culturally responsive practices with Agnes Dube, Chiza Westcarr, Dr Frank Lin and Douaa Al Hamad. Branding strategies with Rochelle Akhavan rounded out the program, providing valuable advice for professionals at all stages.

The conference concluded with the ‘Fright Night Finale’, a Halloween-themed celebration where attendees networked and relaxed in a festive atmosphere.
