Prime Creative Media has acquired Aesthetic Medical Practitioner, CosBeauty.com.au and COSMEDICON from Bella Media, Australia’s leading B2B publisher serving the cosmetic medicine and aesthetic beauty industry.

The acquisition strengthens Prime Creative Media’s presence in the medical sector and supports its strategy of investing in high-growth, specialist professional markets.

Aesthetic Medical Practitioner is the trusted professional resource for cosmetic doctors and practitioners, delivering industry news, regulatory updates and in-depth coverage of new products, treatments, technologies and services.

COSMEDICON is Australia’s premier boutique aesthetic medicine conference, while CosBeauty.com.au is a leading digital platform providing authoritative content on cosmetic surgery and beauty for both professionals and consumers.

Christine Clancy, CEO of Prime Creative Media, said she was thrilled to welcome the titles and event to its portfolio, as it has long admired the impressive contributions of one of Australia’s fastest-growing healthcare segments.

Aesthetic Medical Practitioner, COSMEDICON and CosBeauty.com.au are highly regarded brands with loyal, engaged audiences across the cosmetic medical profession,” Ms Clancy said.

“We see significant opportunity to invest in premium editorial, digital capability and events that support practitioners navigating a dynamic sector.

“Under Prime Creative Media’s stewardship, these brands are well positioned to support the growth of the industry’s practitioners, partners and the broader healthcare ecosystem.”

Michelle Kearney, Founder and Managing Director of Bella Media, said she was thrilled to have found a new home for Bella Media’s titles and events with a like-minded company that prioritises industry growth.

“Bella Media has been proud to champion Australia’s aesthetic medicine industry for more than two decades,” said Michelle Kearney, Managing Director of Bella Media.

“Joining Prime Creative Media marks an exciting next chapter for our brands and for the practitioners and partners who have grown with us.

“Prime Creative Media’s vision, values and commitment to investing in specialist markets give us great confidence that our flagship brands will continue to evolve and serve the aesthetics industry with integrity.

“We are grateful to our readers, advertisers and partners, and look forward to seeing Aesthetic Medical Practitioner, CosBeauty.com.au and COSMEDICON flourish under Prime’s leadership.”

The acquisition, effective 2 January 2026, will see Bella Media’s brands and experienced team transition into Prime Creative Media, ensuring continuity for readers, advertisers, sponsors and event partners.

Founded in 1998, Bella Media has built a long-standing reputation as Australia’s leading communications specialist in aesthetic medicine and beauty, and has delivered COSMEDICON, the industry’s boutique conference, since 2018.

The transaction represents another milestone in Prime Creative Media’s support of specialist B2B sectors, complementing its established portfolio spanning education, wealth management, infrastructure and other industries.

The addition of cosmetic medicine will further strengthen Prime Creative Media’s health portfolio, which already includes respected industry brands INSIGHT and Hearing Practitioner Australia.

Both companies are committed to a seamless transition and will work together to deliver the 2026 COSMEDICON event, taking place from 5-7 March at the InterContinental Hotel Double Bay.
