Merz Aesthetics has announced the opening of its brand-new, state-of-the-art Research & Development Innovation Center, North America (RDIC, North America) in Raleigh, North Carolina – their global headquarters.
The RDIC, North America is a space that will foster collaboration across all R&D functions, driving continued research and advancing Merz Aesthetics’ product portfolio.

The RDIC, North America complements the existing RDIC, Frankfurt. The RDIC, Frankfurt has laboratories focused on the Merz Aesthetics filler portfolio, skin lab and central analytics, while the new RDIC, North America will house a tailor-designed Energy-Based Device (EBD) lab supporting the life cycle and development of Ultherapy®, their nonsurgical lifting and skin tightening treatment, and continued research on energy-tissue interactions. This lab will serve as a central hub for pioneering EBD research and development efforts for Merz Aesthetics.

With a wet lab, mechanical lab, electronic lab, acoustic lab and software lab, the EBD lab will provide the space and equipment to foster groundbreaking research within Merz Aesthetics and the Raleigh community.
