High Tech Medical has introduced the new TORO by Deka, a next-generation laser system that includes both nanosecond and picosecond pulses and 3 wavelengths, 785nm, 1064nm and 532nm, to deliver advanced solutions for a broad range of indications.

This multi-wavelength system offers precise, reliable and effective treatment of deep and superficial pigmented lesions, melasma, comprehensive tattoo removal, acne and post acne scar reduction, skin brightening/toning and rejuvenation, and DEKA Peel for pore refinement and texture improvement.

The different wavelength and emission modalities make TORO one of the most flexible laser systems available. Treatments can be customised for reliable, fast and proven clinical outcomes.

The new 785 m wavelength is ideal for treating epidermal and dermal lesions in phototypes III-V with reduced risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). The 785nm wavelength is well absorbed by melanin and less by haemoglobin compared to more standard wavelengths (1064nm and 532nm) making it the ideal choice for dark and Asian phototypes.

TORO’s wide range of handpieces and spot sizes, each with its own focal lens, ensures energy delivery is optimised, maximising treatment efficacy.

The versatile handpieces include:

  • Round Zoom: Adjustable spot sizes, enhancing treatment flexibility. Ideal for pigmented lesions.
  • Pico 785nm: Facilitating targeted treatment of epidermal and dermal lesions, with reduced risk of PIH.
  • Square: Uniform energy distribution, optimal for tattoo removal.
  • Fractional Round: Treatments ranging from deep acne scars to comprehensive skin rejuvenation.
  • Deka Peel: Carbon peel laser rejuvenation.

Key features:

  • Tri-Wavelength Emission:
    • 785nm Picosecond: epidermal and dermal lesions, with reduced risk of PIH, and effective for treating phototypes III-V including Asian skin
    • 532nm & 1064nm Nanosecond: tattoo removal of all colours and pigmented lesions
  • Pre-set clinical database and smart interface for step-by-step treatment guidance and
    customisable protocols
  • Advanced RLA Technology – Homogeneous Beam Profile for better tissue interaction,
minimal PIH risk, and predictable results
  • Multiple Handpiece Options (Zoom, Square, Fractional,
Deka Peel, 785nm Pico Pulse)
  • Counterbalanced Arm – supports the handpiece, reducing operator fatigue for effortless treatments
  • Magnetic Handpieces & Connectors for quick & secure handpiece changes
  • Seamless transition One Click wavelength change
  •  High ROI with no consumables

Indications:

  • Benign Pigmented Lesions
  • Tattoo Removal
  • Melasma
  • Skin Rejuvenation
  • Acne and Acne Scars
