Tissue Repair introduces TR PRO+®, a breakthrough topical designed to support post-procedure wound healing and scar formation.
On Tuesday 5 August, an exclusive lunchtime media education event was hosted at Buon Ricordo Restaurant in Paddington, Sydney, to launch Tissue Repair’s coveted new product: TR PRO+®. This next-generation topical formulation is designed to accelerate post-procedure wound healing, support skin regeneration and encourage normal scar formation.
The event brought together beauty and aesthetic medical media for an insightful look into the science and clinical application of this innovative product.
The program opened with Tony Charara, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Tissue Repair, who provided a background on the company’s development journey. He spoke to the brand’s strong research foundation and its mission to bring pharmaceutical- grade skin recovery technologies to aesthetic and clinical practice.
Next, Sydney plastic surgeon Dr Steven Liew shared his clinical insights on the use of TR PRO+® in post-procedural care. He outlined its role in improving recovery times and outcomes following treatments such as laser resurfacing, microneedling, injectables, even burns and surgical procedures. Dr Liew presented cases demonstrating accelerated healing, reduced erythema and improved patient comfort.
Concluding the session, Dr Darryl Read, Chief Operating Officer of Tissue Repair, detailed the science behind the formulation. He explained the product’s patented proprietary molecule, Glucoprime, which stimulates key growth factors involved in epidermal repair and collagen synthesis. With TGA approval now complete, the formulation’s ability to improve barrier function and reduce inflammation positions it as a valuable adjunct in aesthetic medicine.
