This May, Venus Concept and EnVogue played host to ROAR 2023, a ‘roaring’ aesthetics event like no other.
Held in Sydney on 13 May at the Art Gallery of NSW and in Melbourne on 20 May at the Glass House, the one- of-a-kind ROAR 2023 event came to life in spectacular fashion. Hosted by Venus Concept and EnVogue, the full-day event delivered an outstanding program within an energetic and highly interactive environment.
Presentations included insightful educational learnings from key opinion leaders, plus live injecting sessions and on-point business presentations. A game show style format with live Q&A and ‘sponsor spotlights’ kept delegates engaged whilst having fun throughout the day.
ROAR’s MC, entertainment industry veteran Mike Goldman, brought an incredible energy and engagement from all those who attended.
The impressive line-up of speakers included: Dr Jasmin Taher (UK) with a live injecting session on ‘masculinity redefined’; Dr Kristy Kostalas on the business of beauty; Dr Nashwa Botros on treating active acne with nano fractional RF; Dr Nik Davies, who explored effective treatments for hair loss; Dr Aliaa Yusof on MINT threads and a live injecting session using Stylage fillers; and Dr Liz Dawes-Higgs, who discussed her experience using RF technology. Guest speaker clinical psychologist Dr Toni Pikoos gave an insightful presentation on understanding the psychological needs of the aesthetic patient, while Dr John Holbrook presented on Ahpra’s new regulatory changes.
Dr Steven Liew and Dr Sean Arendse moderated lively and energetic panel discussions at the respective Sydney and Melbourne events.
Once again, ROAR 23 encapsulated the spirit and progressivism of our industry, delivering a day packed with education, networking and entertainment. AMP
