Merz Aesthetics hosts the highly anticipated MANA (Merz Aesthetics Nurse Academy) Symposium.

Held on 13 September 2025 in Sydney, Merz Aesthetics’ MANA (Merz Aesthetics Nurse Academy) Symposium welcomed 150 nurse providers from across Australia and New Zealand. The full-day program created an invaluable forum for advancing clinical knowledge, exchanging expertise and exploring the evolving landscape of aesthetics.

Chaired by Dr Phillip Artemi, the symposium brought together a distinguished line-up of speakers, including Dr Kristy Kostalas, Dr Ricky Sia, Dr Frank Lin, RN Katy Wallace, RN Deb Sweet. RN Hayley Anderson, NP Kelly McChord and RN Jun Ding. From the opening keynote address, the day set a forward-thinking tone.

The central themes of the event were regenerative bio-stimulators, the importance of a purified neurotoxin, the concept of ‘proudly ageing’ and Merz Aesthetics’ new device: Ultherapy PRIME.

The program featured a series of live demonstrations that brought theory to life. Delegates observed advanced strategies in facial rejuvenation, including Ultherapy PRIME and the Merz range of injectable treatments, while Dr Frank Lin and Dr Kristy Kostalas presented a compelling session on adopting a skin-first approach to ageing proudly. These demonstrations provided opportunities for nurses to witness techniques in real time and translate them directly into their own clinical practice.

The day concluded with a Q&A session and closing reflections from Dr Artemi on the future of aesthetics and the direction of clinical practice. His remarks underscored the importance of continued collaboration and education to ensure safe, ethical and patient-centred care across the industry.

With MANA, Merz Aesthetics reaffirmed its commitment to supporting healthcare professionals through high-quality education and hands-on learning.
