The Cynosure Lutronic Power Up 2025 event was a showcase of advanced techniques and expert insights into innovative treatment for melasma, vascular conditions and skin rejuvenation.
Held at the Taronga Centre on 17 May, Cynosure Lutronic’s Power Up 2025 was a full-day event dedicated to knowledge sharing and innovation. The day began with introductions from Mark Collins, National Sales Manager; Krystian Szuba, General Manager of Cryomed Aesthetics; and Danielle Raballo, Commercial Director of Cynosure Lutronic. Their welcome set the tone for a program that reflected the brand’s strong commitment to advancing aesthetic education.
The Melasma Forum kicked off with Dr Davin Lim providing an overview of melasma types, followed by Dr Wenyuan Liu addressing challenges with skin types III-VI, while Dr Simon Lin (Taiwan) explored vascular melasma. Dr John Sullivan’s session on hormonal pigmentation in midlife rounded out the discussion, after which a panel of experts shared their approaches to complex cases.
In the Vascular Session, Dr Jenny Kimmins and Dr Laura Wheller addressed conditions such as rosacea, acne and telangiectasia. Dr John Sullivan highlighted the PDT Boost for enhancing vascular treatments, offering practical insights for optimising outcomes.
The Rejuvenation & Skin Quality Session focused on innovative approaches, including Dr Simon Lin discussing the integration of radiofrequency microneedling with topicals. Dr John Sullivan’s presentation on hair regrowth using Lutronic Ultra 1927 and KeraFactor demonstrated the versatility of modern devices. Dr Keturah Hoffman’s tips on enhancing skin rejuvenation for women over 40 added a further dimension to the session. The session was completed by Dr Yanni Xu (Singapore) discussing how aesthetics and anti-ageing science are merging.
The education component concluded with a session on Fast Tips with Novel Combinations, where experts shared their preferred combination treatments, making Power Up 2025 a truly valuable educational experience for all attendees.
Attendees were then treated to drinks on the Gili Terrace, where attendees soaked in glittering views of Sydney’s sky line while networking with industry peers. AMP
