Cutera ANZ has marked a major brand milestone, announcing a high-profile collaboration with the Australian Open, one of the world’s most recognisable sporting events and a global showcase for elite performance.
The activation sees Cutera bring several of its key technologies onto the international sporting stage through strategic partnerships with professional tennis players competing throughout the tournament. As part of the collaboration, selected players are wearing Cutera brand patches during matches, delivering global exposure across broadcast, live attendance and international streaming platforms.
Brands featured on court include AviClear, Secret by Cutera and truFlex, placing Cutera’s aesthetic technologies in front of millions of viewers during one of the most-watched sporting events of the year.
The activation officially launched on 18 January, with Cutera brands visible from Round 1 of the tournament. This included AviClear appearing on Mackenzie McDonald (USA) during his opening match against Alex de Minaur (AUS) on Rod Laver Arena, alongside additional player appearances across John Cain Arena and 1573 Arena. Cutera branding is also appearing courtside during matches featuring some of the sport’s biggest names, including Novak Djokovic (SRB), Carlos Alcaraz (ESP) and Coco Gauff (USA).
The partnership reflects Cutera’s ambition to position its technologies beyond medical aesthetics and alongside global icons known for precision, performance and confidence.
‘At its core, Cutera is about confidence. The confidence to perform, show up fully and feel comfortable in your own skin,’ said Helen Tudehope, Marketing Director at Cutera. ‘The Australian Open is a moment where performance, resilience and belief are tested on a global stage. Aligning with athletes competing at this level is a natural extension of our brand values.’
Tudehope added that the activation reinforces Cutera’s long-term philosophy: ‘Cutera supports confidence over time, not through quick fixes, but through technology designed to improve skin health and deliver lasting outcomes. Our presence alongside athletes competing at the Australian Open reinforces that advanced skin technology belongs alongside world-class sport, wellness and aspiration.’
The collaboration delivers significant international visibility for Cutera and represents a strategic step forward in strengthening the brand’s profile across Australia, New Zealand and key global markets, positioning aesthetic technology within a broader conversation around performance, longevity and confidence at the highest level.
