COSMEDICON 2025: Panel Discussion – ‘Industry in Turmoil’
The well-attended ‘Industry in Turmoil’ panel discussion at COSMEDICON was in response to the Queensland government Fact Sheet that was distributed in December 2024. It related to the purchase and storage of Schedule 4 cosmetic injectables. Stakeholders from the aesthetics industry engaged in robust discussion on specific regulations that have resulted in confusion in the industry.
The panel was moderated by Dr John Flynn (former President, ACCS) and panelists included Dr Gabi Caswell (Past President, ACAM), Kate Evans (Acting National Director, Rapid Regulatory Response, Ahpra), Dr lan Holten (Plastic Sugeon), Jacinta King RN (Director of Nursing Leadership & Strategy, Juv’ae), Sheri-lee Knoop RN (President, CNA), Dr David Kosenko (President, CPCA), Dr Tom Parmakellis (Cosmetic Physician).
