KeraFactor^®

Six years in the making, the ground-breaking KeraFactor^® Peptide Complex represents a new category of advanced skincare for hair. The patented KeraFactor^® formula combines a proprietary set of 7 biomimetic polypeptides that includes specifically selected growth factors and proteins to achieve visible scalp and hair revitalisation. Proprietary and patented technology allows the KeraFactor^® formula to contain significantly higher concentrations of each growth factor, wrapped in its own nano-liposome for optimal delivery.

Most of the growth factors included in the KeraFactor^® Serum have been very difficult to synthesise in the past. As a result, available topical formulations do not have these growth factors or have low concentrations of some of them. All of KeraFactor^®’s growth factors have been synthesised in high concentrations and wrapped in nano-liposomes separately through proprietary and patented manufacturing processes. They are then combined, resulting in the finished and patented KeraFactor^® formula. Currently, KeraFactor^® is the only range of products that includes all of these growth factors, in high concentrations.

The KeraFactor^® formula is created into a unique line of products: KeraFactor® Serum (in-clinic treatment) and the KeraFactor^® Scalp Stimulating Solution and Scalp Stimulating Shampoo + Conditioner (home-care range).

KeraFactor^® works in conjunction with various treatment methods, including microneedling, PRP and mesotherapy, as well as the KeraLase® treatment, to achieve maximum product absorption and optimum results.

KeraLase^® is a novel, injection-free approach to hair and scalp revitalisation using the KeraFactor^® Serum with Lutronic’s state-of-the-art LaseMD Ultra gentle, non-ablative laser. The KeraLase^® treatment is fast (approx 10 minutes), virtually painless, and has no downtime, offering a one-of-a-kind approach to hair and scalp health that is both cost-effective and efficacious.

LaseMD Ultra^® is a key component of the new KeraLase^® treatment. The. laser creates tiny “microchannels” in the scalp, which increases the absorption of KeraFactor^®’s biomimetic growth factors and proteins and helps enhance scalp microvasculature for improving the appearance of hair and scalp skin.

Clinical studies have shown that enhanced absorption of nano-liposomes can be over five times due to the sponge-like microcolumns created by the 1927nm wavelength. Absorption
of the KeraFactor^® Serum helps to promote denser, thicker and fuller- looking hair and conditions skin for a healthy-looking scalp.

Unlike PRP, there is no need to have blood drawn or perform any injections into the treatment area. This allows KeraLase® treatments to be virtually painless with no downtime and low operating costs. Results with KeraLase^® may also be more predictable. While autologous treatment with injected PRP can yield improvement, a percentage of patients are considered non-responders or have limited or inconsistent results due to the variability of an autologous preparation. There is also a subset of patients who have difficulty tolerating the discomfort of injections.
