The Misdeeds of Ahpra conference
May 3
Hosted by the Australian Medical Professional Society, a professional body representing doctors and allied health professionals in Australia, join distinguished speakers for an in-depth exploration into AHPRA’s failures and strategies for addressing these issues.
There is an extraordinary litany of misappropriations, misdeeds, and overreach, with jaw-dropping adverse consequences, directly due to AHPRA, Australia’s health-care regulator. Unfortunately, there are no statutory or regulatory consequences for these wrongdoings, meaning AHPRA is free to do what it wants to, how it wants to, and when it wants to. This conference seeks to explore the mechanics of AHPRA’s failings, showcase some examples, and to educate attendees about how to manage issues and formulate plans for moving forwards.
Speakers:
- David Gardner
- Prof. Roy Beran
- Katie Ashby-Koppens
- Prof. Mukesh Haikerwal
