FreeACAM invites you to More than Skin Deep: Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Other Psychological Considerations in Aesthetic Medicine with Dr Toni Pikoos.
ACAM’s Guest Lecture Series is free to attend, they are held roughly bi-monthly for medically registered doctors or nurses. The lectures are informal and intended to provide a short exploration topic and then Q and A time. Attendees must register for the lecture services and a certificate of attendance will be issued to those who attend the entire session (note all attendance is logged including time engaged by participant).
CPD will apply: 1 hour.
About Dr Toni Pikoos
Dr Toni Pikoos, BSc (Hons), PhD (Clinical Psychology), MAPS, is a clinical psychologist and postdoctoral researcher from Melbourne, Australia. She is one of few psychologists who specialises in the treatment and research of Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and other body image disorders. Dr Pikoos is Co-Founder of ReadyMind, which develops psychological screening and consultation tools for use in the cosmetic industry, as well as training for cosmetic practitioners in supporting the emotional needs of their patients.
