Pro Aesthetic Solutions has announced the exclusive Australian launch of AuraLux, Acclaro Medical’s cold fibre laser platform.
The launch brings the 2910 nm AuraLux fibre laser to Australian clinics and aesthetic practices for the first time, positioning the device as a new option for practitioners seeking ablative resurfacing outcomes with a more controlled thermal profile.
According to Pro Aesthetic Solutions, AuraLux has been developed to address two common barriers to laser treatment uptake: patient concern around discomfort and the recovery time traditionally associated with ablative resurfacing.
The device uses Acclaro Medical’s proprietary CoolPulse technology, which is designed to direct most of the delivered energy into tissue ablation while limiting residual heat. Pro Aesthetic Solutions says this approach supports CO₂-comparable resurfacing outcomes while reducing pain, downtime and the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
The device has been developed for use across Fitzpatrick skin types I to VI, including patients with skin of colour. This is a key focus of the Australian launch, with ablative resurfacing historically more limited in darker skin types due to pigmentation risk.
Designed as a tabletop system that integrates seamlessly into any practice setting, AuraLux features an intuitive GUI, four built-in customisable modes and preset safety settings — making it accessible for both first-time laser operators and seasoned practitioners.
