A social media site is now helping women crowd fund plastic surgery.

MyFreeImplants.com is a specialised social networking website that provides fundraising for women who desire breast augmentation. Members come together to help women earn free breast implants.

Around 95 percent of the donors are men and they are offered ‘photos, videos, messages and everlasting gratitude in exchange’ for their donations.

The site claims it has eight million page views every month with more than 4,000 women ‘looking for your friendship and assistance.’

The website has been criticized for being unethical and exploitative marketing – with young women feeding their ‘need’ to ‘enhance’ their bodies.

Creators of the website, Jay Moore and friend Jason Grunstra, defended their project saying the reaction to it has been positive, particularly in the UK.
