The Le Med Nasal Splint has a number of unique features, making it ideal for use by practitioners post surgical and injectable rhinoplasty, after nose injury or trauma and to reshape and enhance the appearance of the nose.
The splint can help minimise and prevent many complications such as swelling, oedema, haemorrhage, implant displacement, filler migration, malposition, and step and open roof deformity.
It comes in four sizes (petite, small, medium, large), with a starter pack containing all four available to allow practitioners hands-on experience fitting the range.
The Le Med Nasal Splint is ergonomically shaped to follow the anatomical contour of nasal bone, facial bone and orbit to provide maximum comfort. The rounded edges avoid demarcation on the patient’s skin and increases comfort. The gentle, constant compression force applied to the patient’s nose helps expedite the healing process while helping to reduce bruising, swelling and post-operative pain.
As opposed to conventional splints, the device is practically invisible, with no external taping. The transparent material allows the practitioner visual access to monitor swelling, bleeding, bruising, infection, inflammation, skin demarcation, skin ulceration and skin necrosis from day one, so action can be taken swiftly to avoid any long-term complications.
Additionally, the inconspicuous appearance, comfort and reduction in post-operative pain and complications leads to greater patient compliance.
