Where it all started

Michel Tordjman, a French aesthetic practitioner with a particular fascination for cellular biology, founded Laboratories FILLMED in 1978. He first pioneered NCTF®, New Cellular Treatment Factor, a unique, skin boosting solution that corrects the effects of skin ageing.

Today, Laboratories FILLMED boasts a range of professional and at-home skin care regimes, chemical peels and skin boosters.

In vitro studies (based on cell cultures)

Laboratories FILLMED test products on the primary human skin cells adapted with daily real conditions such as aged fibroblasts obtained from the depth of the wrinkles, skin cells under UV radiation or oxidative stress, in order to ensure the clinical effect of the products. The skin cells are evaluated either for their morphology or their activities/functions.

Ex vivo studies (based on tissue)

Laboratories FILLMED test their products on human living skin, taken from abdominoplasty or lifting surgeries, which are kept from 24 hours to three weeks in the laboratory. After applying the products (topical or injections), skin samples (biopsies) are evaluated through all available methods such as classic microscopes, electronic microscopes, dosing the markers, etc.
